The Aviation Safety Competition (ASC) is a Singapore Institute of Aerospace Engineers (SIAE) initiated project. The target participants are from Upper Secondary, Junior College, Polytechnic, Tertiary and University students. The overall aim of this competition is to generate interest in aviation and to encourage them to consider careers in the aviation industry. Our mission is to build an aviation culture for our NGAP. The program is set to launch in late 2015 spreading over to 2016 with a series of lectures and talks conducted by industry experts, including senior practitioners of agencies involved in aviation safety, flight operations, navigation and air traffic management.
