Synopsis of the talk on “Importance of Lubrication on Aircraft”:
In this talk, the audience will get details on a range of topics within commercial aviation lubricants such as their history, chemistry, rigorous approval process and performance expectations. Specific product categories highlighted include jet turbine oils, hydraulic fluids and greases.
About the speaker: Mr Daniel Tan
Daniel Tan is the Distributor Business Consultant for aviation lubricants in ExxonMobil. Previously, he was the Area Sales Manager and the Asia Pacific Aviation Field Engineer. Prior to aviation lubricants, Daniel was a Project Engineer with ExxonMobil Research & Engineering for two years. Before joining ExxonMobil, he was a Programme Manager responsible for aircraft system integration in Singapore’s Defence Science and Technology Agency, as well as a Branch Head responsible for Singapore’s defence policy with Europe and Americas in the Ministry of Defence.
