Café Aeronautique – Air Traffic Management Modernization and Harmonization

The Singapore Institute of Aerospace Engineers successfully held our second Café Aeronautique on Thursday, 24 Apr 2014. Our guest speaker for the evening was Dr Hsin Chen Chung, the director of the Air Traffic Management Research Institute (ATMRI).

Café Aeronautique is our regular networking event for aviation professionals, where we invite you to share your thoughts about aviation while enjoying an evening over food and drinks with aviation professionals.
For this session, Dr Hsin covered the following:

• Asia Pacific aviation demand
• Global/regional harmonization vision and goals
• Challenges and opportunities in Asia Pacific ATM modernization and harmonization
• Air Traffic Management Research Institute (ATMRI) commitment

ATMRI was jointly established by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and the Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

SIAE is a non-profit organisation dedicated to aviation safety and promoting aerospace technology. Café Aeronautique is one of our activities to help build a strong aviation culture among our Next Generation Aviation Professionals (NGAP).
