The Singapore Institute of Aerospace Engineers (SIAE) is pleased to work with Singapore Polytechnic for our upcoming Cafe Aeronautique.
This month, the focus is on aerospace training, and we invite you to come and experience how an institution trains our Next Generation of Aviation Professionals (NGAP).
We are honoured to have Dr Bill Rankin from Boeing to update on aviation safety. You can also look forward to a presentation from Singapore Polytechnic, a tour of the labs, and a ride on aircraft simulators built by the students.

William Rankin is currently the president of Wm. L. Rankin Consulting, Inc. He attained his M.S. and Ph.D. in psychology from Washington State University, and went on to work as a Humans Factor Engineer with Boeing for 12 years. Later, he became a Technical Fellow at The Boeing Company. Today, he is the president of his own company, Wm. L. Ranking Consulting, Inc. He has attained several awards for his achievements, including Customer Aviation Services Engineering Team of the Year from Boeing, Whittle Safety Award from the International Federation of Airworthiness and Flight Safety Foundation/Airbus Human Factors in Aviation Safety from the Flight Safety Foundation.
