Dear Members, Fellow Aviation Professionals and Friends,
The Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) has launched the Engineering Feats@IES-SG50 Competition during the recently concluded World Engineers Summit (WES). Officiated by DPM Teo Chee Hean, this is a national competition to seek out and recognize the top 50 engineering achievements across the various fields of engineering deemed by Residents of Singapore to have made the greatest economic, infrastructural or societal impact to Singapore.
The competition will be arranged in two parts. First, all members of public – especially project owners and engineers – are invited to submit their proposals. Early next year, shortlisted entries will be put up for public voting. The top 50 projects with the highest number of votes will clinch the title of Top 50 Engineering Feats.
The online submission has opened and the deadline for the submission of entries, 15 January 2016.
